This is the Official site of the Hip Hop artist Misfit. The site brings his music, photos, and videos to the web and allows viewers, fans and his audience to engage with him on a whole new level. We built the site using Drupal CMS for the freedom of customization.
Misfit is everything you think he could never be. Born in Long Beach, California and raised in the inner-city, Misfit depicts both a beach-boy/street-savvy. His passion for music and life experiences give a refreshing perspective into the new generation. Misfit is the most unlikely candidate to break expectations and become the new underdog champion.
Equipped with catchy rhymes, comic wit, and authentic swag, he paints a brutally-honest portrait of his life. As an 80′s baby/90′s screw-up, Misfit (born Ryan Lee) was subjected to adversity from very early on. Raised primarily by his young mother, he sought father-like leadership from the streets, quickly landing him in constant trouble. At the tender age of 7, he witnessed a Snoop Dogg music video shoot from the handlebars of his best friend’s bike. Seeing Snoop on the rooftop of the world famous VIP Records, with the whole city behind him, made it clear to Misfit what wanted to do. He went home that day and wrote his first rap song…and never stopped.
